I sadly had to get my pet euthanased recently and being new to the area and hours from my usual vet had to find someone local. I had taken my dog Sasha in elsewhere for review on the tuesday and tried numerous things with her before making the inevitable decision to go ahead but when I returnd to the vet on saturday morning they had no-one available, so I ended up at Bowenfels Veterinary Clinic. Julie thoroughly examined my dog and informed me the situation was more grim than had been discussed on tuesday elsewhere and my furbaby was very lovingly and peacefully transitioned. I am very grateful to Julie for her time and patience as we ended up going past their usual closing time but she didn't rush the process and was very professional yet personable and showed respect for how difficult the process was for us. This will definitely be my new vet for the care of my other furbabies and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
At Bowenfels on the Great Western Highway. Hwy 32. One of Three in Lithgow. Excellent service, by friendly staff. cater for domestic pets and road injuries. As well as farm animals etc. Worth the wait if they are busy.
