Old style amenities. We paid for powered site at 35 per night. Some water at back of our van and we were charged for a leak. Worked out it was our washing machine. She wouldn't give our $5 back for supposed leak. Wouldn"t go back again because of the attitude. I was told vans fill their tanks and use their pump. Not true but would pay to do it if you had to stay there.
This location worked perfectly for us. From here we had short trips to visit locations in the Blue Mountains and Bathurst. There was lots of camp sites with adequate shade and a nice view of the valley next door. In particular, our kids loved it as they had a chance to visit the animals next door. They enjoyed our camp site more so than the attractions we took them to see. It made the stay in Lithgow quite enjoyable.
Campground was nice. But not a lot of shade.We used a fan in the common room and the owner came and told us she will charge us electricity because we used the fan!?Why do you let a fan in the common room if we can't use it??It was clean and quiet.Sometimes you can hear the train but didn't bother us30 $ for 2.
Loved it.. Very clean, friendly manager.. Went out of her way to show us what was available in Lithgow. Definitely a 10 out of 10
Stayed for 2 nights in a Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was spacious and clean. Air con worked a treat as did the bar heater that was in the lounge. The beds were super comfortable. The manager was very helpful and accommodating. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the fact the park is situated very close to the rail line and coal trains would make lots of noise all hours of the night. Apart from that we had a nice stay.
