Ive been coming to Blooms for a couple of years, but twice now have been treated very rudely by the male chemist. Today I went in asking for pseudoephidrine for a cold; he didnt want to give it to me as Ive started taking beta blockers. Sure, fair enough, I have no issue with that, I dont want to take something that could be unsafe.He suggested a nasal spray, and I told him I already had some at home, but that in the past they hadnt really helped me. He got so aggressive at that, didnt want to listen to me, basically implied that if I didnt get the nasal spray then I was an idiot. His tone was very intimidating, I ended up buying it because I felt really overwhelmed- and yes, turns out to be the exact same one I had at home, so a waste of money.Im a polite person and respect the advice of chemists, but the way he spoke to me was just incredibly rude and disrespectful.The other female chemists and sales staff are always helpful and friendly - and in fact, this particular male chemist gave me a flu shot once and was totally fine, so I dont know if he just gets snappy at the end of the day or something. Sadly, while Blooms is more convenient and open on weekends, I think Im going to avoid it from now on and stick to the smaller local chemists.
Seems like the biggest and busiest chemist in Lithgow. It seemed also to be the only one offering flu vaccines and the service I got with this was very good and well-priced.Very happy to recommend.

These people saved my life.Donna came to deliver my meds.saw the state I was in.went back to the shop and with my permission discussed the best way to help me.the police and ambulance showed up at my house and took me to hospital.I have the strength to live another day.everyone there has been supportive and considerate.thank you all so very much
Over the years I have personally experienced a lot of issues when trying to obtain my medication ( blister pack).My specialist doctor has had to email this pharmacy, to be more obliging.Usually I require a weekly pack, however any deviation from this, becomes an embarrassing argument. I wanted 2 packs, as I was going away, this was denied by blooms & again another argument ensued. After much embarrassment and tears & people looking I eventually received my packs.Today I needed 2 packs again as I am disabled and without my carer,, again this was denied! Tired of fighting for my medication which are life saving, I left with empty hands, I am now without my medication, however over next hour the manager of blooms contacted me, and Offered to arrange for delivery, which is most kind as I live a good 27 Ks away.All sorted in the end, blooms has certainly gone above and beyond!!
